With my collages, I have been ahead of today’s trend: rethink/recycle. A concept of art presently called TRASH ART. I build these miniatures from old yellowed papers, encyclopaedias, and other relics of the past. I try to shape the surprising materials, situations, techniques into a visual unit that conveys a certain mood. These fragments evoke memories and feelings in the viewers, and this way the work becomes a personal message in addition to the more general aesthetic one. Most recently, I created a series reflecting the 12 zodiac signs, which can even be a symbol of the whole family.
